Who are you? That is a question that many ask, but do not want to answer. Are we the sum of our experiences or upbringing. Or both..

Being raised in Northern California is the most amazing thing that can happen to a child. I mean spending a lot of time in the mountains, not staying  in town. Or the beach, or the lake, or the river, or…but you get the idea. I was learning to fish and hunt while most kids were still learning to play with toys, or each other. By the time I was 12 I knew how to operate a chainsaw and a D-8 Cat and was learning to work on stuff , even welding things. But it wasn’t all just fun in the sun. I also had to learn how to cook, both indoors and out.  Learning housework and yard work along with everything else just seemed a part of growing up.
